My first wedding of 2010 was with the beautiful Laura and her fabulous new husband Ivo. They are amazing – lots of fun and laughter the entire day. The event was at one of my favorite places of all time – Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica. The weather during the week was awful – flooding rainstorms, winds and overall just no fun. I told them earlier in the week not to worry. I just knew the clouds would part and we would have a successful OUTDOOR ceremony
Lo and behold, the rain continued until Friday evening and then Saturday morning I peeked out my curtains and the sun was out, the sky was blue and we were ready for a wedding!

I love when couples get to see each other for the first time all dolled up in their wedding garb. It’s such a special, private moment for them before the ceremony.
The way Ivo looked at Laura all day was so touching. He couldn’t stop starting at her – you could feel the love – it just makes me smile.
The sunset was beautiful and vibrant.
What an amazing way to start life as man and wife!
